Daylily Maria Callas – Cardinal red with overlapped nicely ruffled petals, the ruffled and pie-crusted blooms are enhanced with a triangular coral then yellow to green throat. There’s some veining and the ruffled edge is a lighter colour. By far the best plain red daylily I own. The colour and thickness of the petals alone makes this flower bold and classy. A fine parent. EMO. Extended bloom. Daylily Maria Callas was named for one of history’s most exceptional prima-donnas.
